Micon Services Inc. is a Louisiana‑licensed commercial and residential general contractor based in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Since 1995, we’ve built our reputation on dependable workmanship, disciplined execution, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time. For more than three decades, we’ve served Southeast Louisiana with construction, concrete, asphalt, site work, drainage, excavation and public‑works solutions that stand the test of time.
We are a family‑run company with deep roots in the community. What began as a small operation has grown into a versatile contractor capable of supporting private clients, industrial plants, commercial developers, municipalities, and federal agencies. Our team brings hands‑on experience, practical problem‑solving and a strong work ethic to every project — whether it’s a commercial buildout, a concrete foundation, a drainage improvement, an asphalt road or a full site work package.
Micon Services Inc. is fully registered for federal contracting with an active UEI and CAGE code, allowing us to perform government, municipal, and public‑sector work with the same accountability and quality we provide to private customers. Safety is #1
Safety is always top priority at Micon. We feel a strong duty to protect our employees by being proactive and engaging our team in a culture of job site safety. To ensure we live up to this duty, we complete pre-employment and random drug screenings, pre-employment safety training and weekly training on topics from our safety manual. We also hold "Tool Box Talks" weekly where we discuss safety protocols that are relevant to the job we are about to tackle. A safe job site means always working to locate weak points and improve our practices through analysis and training.
Experience & Skills:
Our president and owner, Chad Mizell is experienced and qualified in field crafts and construction project management as well as general management and supervision. He has training and experience in OSHA safety training and safety management.
Throughout his career, Chad has managed projects in both industrial and commercial construction ranging in size and budget from $250,000 to $5 million. He has installed mass pour foundations up to 30,000 sqft and has acquired a wide range of skills including estimating, strategic planning, group leadership, team building, business development and project management.
